    The passivation range of Magnesium is at pH 10.5 and greater, which means that when trying to remove a coating from this substrate a high ph stripper is required..

      Thanks for the info King Back when we started out, we had the Caswell Super Stripper that we used on a stock Evo VC and that worked fine, just didn't do very much. So going forward, I'll probably use that for the Evo VCs to be safe.
