I'm in a jam for powder. Have a huge job going on, damb near the end of it and I'm about out of powder. Local supplier is not stocking this color.

Does ANYONE have 5 lbs or so of Sherwin-Williams "Almond" PHS-C0026 on hand. I need it "yesterday". I'll pay for overnight freight if I can get my hands on some by Friday.

There is a sherwin in the next town over that carries powders, I have to take my son to the dentist by there this morning. I will stop in and see if there is a chance in heck fire they might have ANY on the shelf. Ill let you know as soon as I get home.

I checked at the local sherwin, they dont have any and I got the same answer, 50 lbs min and 3 to 5 days for shipping.

They also won't ship UPS Next Day Air or any air freight because of the plane that went down in the Everglades.

Thanks everyone, even Harleydad for *trying* to wake me up at the butt-crack of dawn this morning. If I could get in bed before 3 or 4 in the damb morning, I might be able to be a part of the real world once or twice a week.

But, like always, the fine folks at PBtP have come thru. I have 10 lbs on the way. Thanks again Matt. Man! I really wish more companies were run this way - you guys are moving to the top of the list pretty quick with us "little guys".

Kinda funny too, my customer was in the shop today when I told him I'm running out of powder. He said "Why didn't you tell me, I can get some more here quick". Ok, give it your best shot (cause I've been on the phone for the last 3 days trying to locate some), so he calls the local S-W powder store and proceeds to order 50 more pounds. The rep told him 5 days, MINIMUM, and nobody in the country has any on the shelf. I already tried to explain that to him - cause this ain't my first rodeo. I called Matt while my customer was still hanging around, grumbling about not being able to get any powder. Guess who's getting me some S-W Almond faster than S-W can? Hehe!!

Thanks again everyone, and a special thanks to Matt for going the extra mile. I'll do business with these guys till hell freezes over, and beyond!!

Yes it is!!

I'm continually amazed at the kindness, generousity and just overall good nature of the poeple on these forums. It's more like family than I've had in a LONG damb time. Next to the classic rock music list I'm on (http://www.boston.org), you guys have GOT to be second to none when it comes to helping each other out. I've never seen anything like that before. Todd will be proud of EACH and every one of you.

I'm humbled to be a small part of such an incredible group of human beings. You guys make all the hard, hot & sweaty work, worth every minute.
