Check the weather for the Dallas, TX area, 104 Sat, 106 Sun, 107 Monday. That's not temperature humidity index either.

        The humidity was horrible today.

        I bet Texas was worse

It was 88 in my shop today with the oven on, but the humidity was down from earlier in the week. Only about 50%.

The only time I see 88 is first thing in the morning for about 2 frickin hours and that's BEFORE I turn the oven on! I think I'm going to bite the bullet and order one of those portable roll around a/c units. They sure have come a long way...a/c, heater, dehumidifier ( with AND without the a/c on! ) or use it in just plain old fan mode with dehumidifier AND you don't have to empty a water bucket!

I have one. It works for my 12 x 16 office space, but didn't even make a 1 degree difference in the shop. It's 24 x 60 though.

Which brand did you get, 110 or 220 and how many btu's?

Its 110, can't remember the brand or btu's. I'll have to check for you. Works good though, but does require a 6" vent hole through the wall.

And of course, I forgot to look at mine when I was at the shop last night. Sorry. I'll try and remember tonight.

This may sound crazy but I am old enough to be crazy if I want But about 15 + years ago I need to get the 66 Mustang painted so the guy could take it home to give to his sister for Xmas. The humidity was very bad and this was Dec and around 65 degrees and 100% humidity. It started raining and I went back to the shop and check the meter and it had dropped to 50% so I had a beer and did one of my best paint jobs. It sometimes works that way in the summer but not to often I am sad to say

That's one beer one paint job. Not a 24 pack and fall out painting right into the paint job.
