What up guys just seeing if any of you have any experience powder coating gas tanks, cause I dont. Just seeing what the proper prep procedure is? I know that youi need to completely clean the tank but is there a special cleaner or procedure that you do? Thanks for the help!!!!

I know there are some guys on here that do it. Here is a thread about it on the "other" forum. Hope it helps. I still think you'll get some more input eventually.
I just looked at the post and the comment about the exhaust in the tank is correct. I have done this for years. Not one problem. All hair still in place. I had posted the same info a while back. You can use any gas burning engine, as long as the tank gets heated from the exhaust. I think it has something to do with carbon monoxide and heat.
