Its deeper in color than ano. red, but it does not have the sparkle like candy. The picture on the canister for Deep trans red is mine.

The base coat was a silver sparkle so thats why it looks like a candy.

I did another canister over polished aluminum and it looked like a deep nice ano. red. See through to the part. I could see the welds etc.

There is no pearl in any of the translucent colors...
