I Have a outgassing problem HELP PLEASE

Hey I am new here and need help and you guys seem to have all the answers

so I have a cast iron tub that wont stop outgassing. We outgassed it for 10 deg. hotter for 10 min longer but it is still outgassing around the rim we sanded the bubbles out twice and recoated
please lend me some of your expertise with this

Try a basecoat of KL primer. You also might want to bump up the outgas temp to +50 deg for 30 min to 1 hr. Ohh and welcome the the forum!!

Welcome to the forum. Ditto on the outgassing suggestions, and also on the KL Primer basecoat. I just did that with a chromed pot-metal rearview mirror mount that was all pitted. After sanding and smoothing out all the pits, I actually shot it with the KL primer without outgassing first. It bubbled up like crazy everywhere there was pitting. After removing the bubbles with 240 grit sandpaper, I shot a coat of wet black and cured at about 25 degrees lower temp for about 20 minutes instead of the recommended 10 and it covered perfectly. I thought that would be a re-do, but the primer did the trick.
