  • BeeBob Hopper

I am a proud owner of a BeeBob hopper!!! It's Super Sweet!!! I like it's size because you can put different amounts of powder in it in accordance with the jobs you are doing. I like the swivel air hose coupler for easy hose attachment and removal. Easy to use on /off adjustable air valve. I like how it comes apart for easy cleaning. And when PBTP gets the pumps in it can be used on the King Coat gun. I currently use it to dry and mix powder. I took some powder out of the storage cabinet sprayed some parts with it and noted the cloud and air pressure setting to make it. Then using the same powder, I put the powder in the hopper first and fluidized it. Now, nice and dry and fluffed up as I say. I put this powder in my cup sprayed some parts and WOW!!! what a cloud of powder!!!!!!!!!! I actually had to turn the air pressure down from the previous spraying to reduce the cloud because the powder flowed so nice it wasn't funny. This was without a doubt one of the best purchases I have made in powder coating to date. Great job BeeBob. Thanks!!

You want pics of the hopper I can take some to night. Sorry I don't have a video of the coating of parts.

I have the Caswell adjustable 50kv gun and the PBTP King Coat gun. Both cup guns. You wouldn't believe the difference spraying the powder after it comes out of the hopper. Unless of course you have a hopper gun.

Pics of it all together and hooked up would be great. Did you try it on your hobby gun? All I have right now is the HF version.

In my very best Elvis...Thank ya, thank ya very much! The clear tubed hopper only comes in a 3" diameter. The newer bigger version is 4" dia in solid white. The shorter one has the adapter for the Wagner pump. Here's the latest pic..

For right now he's only using it to dry and or fluidize the powder...then he puts it in the King gun CUP to shoot. The mod for the King gun to draw directly from the hopper isn't finished yet...

Beebob - what do you use to connect the pick up tube to? The silver thing... And is the pick-up tube solid or perforated?

The silver thing is where the air hose goes. It's a air chuck coupler. When you set it up for a pump the pickup tube will go at the top. Correct me if I'm wrong on the pickup tube BeeBob.
