  • OK PBTP you got some real explaining to do on this one

Dag it I wish I could put a face on subject like EW forum! Bad ain't I

I used your powder and I also found out you don't shoot whit over red to well unless you like pink. Some of you guys do don't you

Well what I tried to do didn't work. My hand is not that steady any more so I gave it up and glad I did. I would have pissed at my self for sure

So I put the darn thing in the PBTP stripper yesterday and let it air bubble for a while and ten cut it off and then this morning I took it out and said well or you going to strip or what and then I made a slit in a big bubble and this is what I got. Gee Guys what gives??????????????

You going to explain this to all of us? I think we would like to know?

    Here is the picture

What exactly is the problem, Duke? That is the way their stripper is designed to work, and looks to me like it worked perfectly. As far as shooting white over red, big no-no. Red will bleed through just about any color, especially whites and yellows (and other light colors). I try to avoid using it under any other color unless there's no way around it, then you need to make sure its totally cured and your topcoat still will probably take 2 or more coats to cover without the red bleeding through.

      So, what was the question??

I knew you were just mess'in around, I was doing the same.

Good. I just wanted to mess with PBTP on this one. It sure surprised me when I peeled it off like that. Even my son said take a picture and post it for sure. They need to see that.

Sure made clean up easy? I guess if I had turned the air on it would have started ripping off like normal.

I agree. No need for the name-calling though Duke. We're not in grade school anymore.

For the technically curious, it looks like it works the same as the D-zolve 298. Not really a powder "disolver", but rather works like a "release agent" to break the bond of the cured powder from the substrate. Two totally different chemical reactions.

Re: OK PBTP you got some real explaining to do on this one

Gee I wish I could paint brush in letters I could maybe do good raised ones but not these any more. Hand is steady but not that steady any more
Pin strip will have to work I guess. CC Mirror Blue and PBTP Wet White.

Their stripper works in all diff ways. That piece was stripped cold and had the air running to my tank the first afternoon. It was getting under the powder and just let it stay over night and the next morning is when I thought it was not working and then it peeled off.

Some paint it just goes after fairly quick and some takes a while and will need to be heated up. If you are in a hurry its not going to happen. The biggest thing I would say about it is that the cost is good and it is supposed to last a good while as long as you keep it filtered using other paints. The powder is no problem it comes off in small and large sheets so its easy to strain.
