The only time I can call is on Monday. I work the same hours as you guys. I'm not full supportive through this yet. I wish! You're an angel do you grant wishes??

Who would I ask for? YOU?????????

Just like powdercoating, prep is key. Make sure you do it well so the ceramic won't flake off once its cured. I did alot of trial and error before I did my first piece so I can say from experience that if you take the time to prep the piece well, it turns out fine

Does the inside and out have to be done for the coating to last?

Answering for the guys who do ceramic on this and the "other" forum, yes. (I don't personally do ceramic, but I read all the posts)

                    Re: Ceramic Coatings??

Do your research real well. You need a correct small touch up gun or an air brush that will work for spraying it. Its hard to find the correct spray gun with the correct tip. Its like 1.3 to 1.8mm I think. Jason can tell you what he uses and likes for shooting the chrome. You might could use a larget tip one on some of the non polishe types but I don't know about that? PBTP says they have a gun for shooting it also. There are some of them made overseas in the under $50 range. This stuff is very thin. A bunch of the ceramic will air dry and then finish curing on the motor. Some you need to be able to get to the 550+ in your oven and then it will finish after putting it in use. Also some companies sell it in 4oz and up and some just by the qt. There is also a shelf life on it of 6 months if I remember right and has to be kept in the frig to keep it that long. Chrome you have to work real hard to get it right and if I ever do it again it will be on bike headers and not ever again on auto ones.

There is are a lot of good info on the ceramic EW forum including my ups and downs with the chrome. Some of the guys are on here also.

Lots of luck with your quest. You are getting ready to step into the liquid painting world and out of dry powder with no runs in what you are spraying.
