When removing powder coat, if the mil thickness is high - a good solution to expedite the stripping process is to cross hatch or cut with a knife down to the substrate to allow the chemistry to leach under the coating. The standard mil thickness is 2-3 mils on most applications...

Good idea.. Alot of parts i will scratch up the Current coating with a wire wheel Before coating with stripper. It does help strip Thick Coating Faster...
