Wanting to pc two carburetors on a motorcycle I'm rebuilding. I've been reading a lot about how to clean the parts and aluminum out gassing and cast aluminum parts. Can this be done by a newbie and a hobby gun. Need some input Thanks

I'm blasting and coating them this weekend. I'll post pics as soon as they come out of the oven. Then I have to put them on and pray she fires. I'm confident but I'm doing mine before someone elses this way if something goes wrong the first time they'll be mine.

LOL... I laugh because that's exactly what I do, an the main reason why I love my VW Squareback project...

Customer: "Can you do exhaust headers?"
Me: "I dunno, let me try it this weekend and find out"
<-- Goes out to garage and removes header from VW...

I haven't decided if I'm going to use primer on the carbs or not but I am using it on my intake.
