I'm north of Austin and we didn't get a drop of rain! You could see the western edge of the storm @ 30 miles east, but then it took the NE turn and went away. Our helicopter base in Galveston went under a 12' tidal surge, so they'll be working out of another city for several months. The real sad news is the new Hooters got washed off it's pier and into the gulf! Looks like I picked a good time to be out sick again....until Feb or March!
Okay thats not fair you live there and got no rain I live here and the storm just had to swing over my house and dropped nine inches of rain.
I think we should all take a moment and bow our heads in memory of the fallen Hooters.

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!
I guess you'll have to travel north and stay awhile. They're just finishing our new Hooters here.
