Please, I beg of you, if you are problems with these products please contact our technical support Donald at 706-244-1255....he can guide you and give you tips on how to get the best finish possible without wasting powder or your valuable time....
Fine fine! I'll call Donald! It's just difficult with the difference in time zone and the work schedule. I usually don't get around to coating until 7pm since I work 8-5 I'll try to give him a call tomorrow and get some tips.

I feel your pain, my problem also. This is a real issue of the custom coater, especially just starting out.
I have been trying to get time to call for over a week. Course I had time one day and someone was busy.(king)
Juan]Just got off the phone with Don... THANKS MAN!
Thanks for the contact Shelly! Don is in fact, the candy man!
Are we going to share?
No! MINE! Haha...
My main concern was the thickness of the top coat. Don explained how each candy top coat darkens the color and reduces the amount of base coat that filters through, Silver Explosion in my case.
Then of course how thick you lay down that base coat affects how well your ground will work for the top coat.
He suggest hitting the hard to reach Faraday areas first. Keeping a nice distance from the tip of the gun to the part. Distance from the part will dictate how even it comes out. Keep about 8 inches and also try shooting away from the part, not directly facing the area.
There was another 10 tips and tricks but I can't remember most of them now... I'm sure they will come back to me when I'm actually coating.
