anybody know anything about this frame its off a (norco atomik) downhill racing bicycle
it says its butted aluminium (whatever that is ) with a forged head
so i don t know if it will withstand being powdercoated
Norco bikes are pretty solid bikes.I was reading a Mountain bike forum and alot of the people figure heat from the Powdercoating will weaken the bike frames-void the warranty as well from the company as well.I think it has more to do with not having the Companys logo's all over the bikes.
Most pictures when you get this done... I've never done anything like a bike frame but got a request for one the other day. Pictures and some tips would be really handy
