  • need some tips on coating two colors on one part

I want to coat a set of rims 2 colors, one side pink one side yellow, I tries to do a two tone color once before but failed miserably. How do i mask off what is already coated?

    Thanks Mike

I usually shoot the rim 1 color , then mask the wheel with aluminum foil and tape the center of the wheel for a clean line. Most of the time i will also clear the entire wheel to smooth it out.

that looks killer, the way were spliting it is from side to side so on one side of the bike its yellow and on the other pink (its for a stunt bike so its allowed to be retarded)

I was thinking car rim, masking that on a motorcycle rim is not fun.Hope it only has a few big spokes, good luck with that!

It could be worse it could be wire spoke rims.
