Trades for powder jobs?

Anyone else on here take trades in place of money for powder coating jobs?

I made a deal with a guy today that I would coat 2 sets of rim centers and 2 valve covers in trade for a saw the same as this.


I had the powder in stock so no costs there and he is paying extra for the sand blasting

I've done a couple of small jobs in exchange for labor... like getting the windows tinted out the xB for a set of wheels in black. Small brackets and such for other car parts of equivalent value... but nothing that big. That's a nice saw!

I do quite a bit of barter work. But I have to say that looks like a sweet deal right there!

Saw is 2 years old and he has not used it in a year because he bought a bigger model. So it is in very good shape

I am trying to do some barter work for a local machine shop. I want him to clean my engine and cylinder heads in exchange for some PC, but he is just not ready to get anything coated. BTW I think you just started this thread to brag about the deal you made. Looks like you made a killer deal.

I've gotten my whole website (under construction) done for barter. I've also got a few thousand dollars in huge vinyl signs made for barter as well. Since they were "free" i went with super extravagant designs like my logo.

I try to source everything with bartering.

I sandblasted 2 old POS Hardly Davidson fenders and a tank for a case of beer and this! I think i got the better end of the deal... cant wait to get it apart and do some crazy coating on it

i think it rocks its one of the older first mini choppers not cheap and chinsy with a lawn mower engine. I was surprised how well built it is.

Case of beer + Mini chopper = best memory's ever!
