  • Clear over wrinkles?

Do you shoot clear over wrinkle colors? Specifically S&S Black and Red Wrinkle? Is it required, optional, or not recommended at all? Doing some parts tomorrow and would like to know. Thanks!

That doesn't make sense shooting primer over the wrinkles...UNLESS he meant shoot primer first THEN the wrinkles?

I was gonna give him crap too, but I figured the meant it the other way around. I guess he's been sniffing too much powder doing all those awesome valve covers.

OK, I figured it would smooth it out and I wanted to ask before I ruined a sample bottle :P Thanks man!

I shot a candy blue over pbtp wrinkle silver and it looked like a mini orange peel. I wouldn't recommend it.

I cleared over a silver mini texture and it smoothed it right out. Took away a lot of the depth. I dunno how it would affect a vein. Maybe the more pronounced veins would hold up better.
