Black Lava or Solaris Black Cherry?

    Black Lava or Solaris Black Cherry?

    Which color would you say is closer to this KING?

    I'm thinking the Black Lava if you look at the valve cover done on your web site. Does anyone have a pic of a part done in the Harley Solaris Black Cherry for comparison?

      Man, that sure does look like the same color. My pic was taken indoors under fluorescent lighting, and the HD on the EW site looks like it was outside in the sun. I guess I'll have to ride my new scooter over to the Hardly shop and see how close it is. I'm trying to match that color for my new project.

        The Lazer Black Cherry was a match and the Solaris matches it perfectly. Just add Clear.....

          Thanks Harleydad and Auto-Cycle. If my new 'pickle is the same color as the HD, I'm cookin' with gas! Just have to verify that by parking next to one.

              I finally got a sample panel of the Black Lava. The color is PERFECT, but the metallic in it is a bit less pronounced. I think with the addition of some slightly larger red metalflake additive, I can match the paint almost exactly.
