What is Japanese for FAWK?

How in the (translated word here) do you get the smaller set of bearings out of here?

I removed the larger set. There is a tube in between the 2 bearings which is the same size as the bearings themselves. This prevents getting anything larger in there-

Is the tube a separate part? Can I just press all of it out one side, then work it out?

Anybody?

Well, unfortunatley I don't. The camera cannot capture it.

it's down a tube and the focus screws up-

there is a bearing on each side, and a pipe in the center-the pipe is a tight tolerance and the same diameter as the shaft which slides into it. So, nothing lager than the bearing can get behind it. Make sense?



If the tube is a separate part-then the 3 might slide together in the press- Like pushing the one side in too far to push the other bearing out-( sort of like a u joint)

however if the tube is part of the swingarm, this will break it.

I might add, I could give a crap about the bearings-I'll smash them into dust if that's what it takes.

With all the motorcycle, atv and dirt bikes, this is a life saver (and a bearing saving). I charge an extra $5 to remove them and do not guaranty the customer that the bearing will be able to reused.

Thats what you need it also helps to heat the arm with a map torch to get it warm with the puller and a little heat they come right out. If you dont want to by the puller just bring it to any bike shop they will pull them and just charge the customer.

Just get a Long screwdriver and hit around the bearing its a tight squeeze between the tube and bearing but trust me it can be done.
The bearing puller listed may not have the correct size u need cause Suzuki bearings are diff. espically the busa cause none of my pullers came close, so i had to resort to the caveman way. Good luck

Yes the tube is seperate once u get one bearing out the tube will fall out, Dont worry bout the bearings the customer Should buy new ones anyhow the Safe thing to do after beating on a bearing.

Also i dont worry bout bearings anymore i just cover them to blast and get all the grease out that i can and coat them never had a problem. (Knock on Wood)

We do the same thing here. But be sure to let the customer know what you are going to do and let them know that they can buy new bearings if they want to pay the extra $$$. That way if something goes wrong down the road they cant say they didnt know you did it and try to charge you for getting it fixed. With the sue happy world we are in today you have to be careful.
