ALRIGHT,i know it's been talked about many of times before.
But, what are some methods on lettering/taping(like valve covers).
even what types of tapes, and step by step on how to?
Raised, recessed, or just masking letters on a flat surface?
Like ty1854 mentioned... what are you trying to do? Even better, post a picture of the valve cover and show us what you're trying to accomplish, we'll be able to provide better assistance this way.
yea, harley dad.i thought there was a step by step on E/Woods site, with pics and all.but for some reason i can't find it now....more so raised lettering.(like the hondas)
I'd like to see hoe you guys get such perfect tape lines.Auto Cycle PC did a set of rims on black and green and the lines were amazing. It would help if i cut back on drinking Monster energy drinks all day.Any tape that doesnt leave adhesion marks,or lift after a full cure?
I'm using blue 3M plastic tape for my lines and take the part out just @ flow out. If you remove the tape before a full cure and you have a line prob, use MEK and Q tips to fix the edges.
