  • Clear Starlight Problems

3 times i have done clear starlight over black that was fully cured.Didn't wipe the part down after it cooled with an open oven door.Blew some air on it just prior to coating with the starlight.Good coverage with the starlight but after 10 minutes at 400 it was still not clearing--still looked white and nowhere near as good as previous uses.Did a test piece with black/starlight--black was good-starlight come out the same.Anyone have similar problems?Running out of strippers!

First of all, you should never run out of strippers Next, what was the mil thickness of the coating ?

Without seeing a pic, I'm guessing you may have applied it too thick. The starlight clear will get a bit milky looking if appied to heavy.
