Ive been doing a little reading on here and have also been doing a little coating on the side. Im just starting out and I'm using an EW gun. I am looking for a color that matches the flat or matte black used on a lot of the sport bike frames. I used PBTP Bike Black thinking that it was what I was looking for and found out that it is a gloss color. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Re: trying to match a color
Welcome to the forum!! Great Family atmosphere here.
The flat black I use for sports bike parts is the Tuscan Black found here http://www.powderbuythepound.com/cat...roducts_id=308 it matches up real nice. -
Re: trying to match a color
After going through the "What are you coating this week?" Thread, I found the 20% Gloss black that someone was using and it looks like the effect I am trying to get. If it doesn't turn out the way I want it to (or any of the other black colors that I ordered) I'll go with the Tuscan. Thanks for the help!Comment

Re: trying to match a color
The PBTP 20% Gloss Black worked just right. Im going to give the parts back to my friend this week. I was very happy with the parts and I hope he is also. Its been too cold for him to ride lately so he isnt in any hurry... without seeing the parts I have for him, he is already talking about pulling the swingarm off.Comment
