Hey everyone, I don't drink beer that comes in aluminum bottles so to compete with Juan and the others I coated these Miller Lite glass bottles. The first three have chrome under them, theres shimmer candy blue , starlight purple, candy red, gloss black thats cleared, silver vein, and bonded chrome.
Thanks guys.
I heated the bottles after cleaning all glue and labels from them to 250 to 300 degrees. Then while still hot I hung them on a swivel and coated the bottles as I turned them. Then of course cured them fully at pmt temp/time.

Hey! I don't drink beer in aluminum bottles either! I just know people who do LOL...
They look good man. Nice job.
Thanks Juan
I had to come up with something to get in on the fun. I don't know anyone around me that drinks beer in aluminum bottles. So I thought what the heck might be fun and I'll learn something new.
I've been coating wine bottles for years. They were some of my first samples. Believe it or not, they get more attention at the car shows than valve covers or wheels. People can't believe they're actually powdercoated. Good job.

I carry a gun because I'm too young to die, and too old to take an ass-whoopin'!

I'd like to see the bottles, post them up. I can believe it about people liking the bottles more. Everyone I show mine to go crazy over them.
A little off subject, but, my wife wants me to do some candy blue and candy red mason jars for the next 4th of July (clear being white I guess) for the yearly party. Was wondering if this is safe to do? I mean could you drink out of powdercoated glass? (safely I mean)
I was thinking about leaving the tops on so the threads dont get hit with the powder. I would think that would be alright? Or just for knowing sake, can you use powder coated anything to eat off of or drink out of? (safely)
