LET ME SAY THIS I WAS IN A TERRIBLE MOTORCYCLE WRECK 6 YERAS AGO, CAME OFF ABOVE 140MPH IN SHORTS AND T-SHIRT, PITT IS THE SAME HOSPITAL I WOKE UP IN AND I HAVE BEEN THERE COMING OUT OF THE COMA NOT NOING WHAT YEAR IT IS AND SO ON, IT IS VERY HARD BUT PITT IS ONE OF THE BEST FOR REHAB. THEY WILL GET HIM RIGHT! HE SOUNDS LIKE A FIGHTER AND THAT IS WHAT IT TAKES TO GET THREW THESE KIND OF THINGS. I BROKE MY BACK WENT IN A CANAL AND DROWN I SHOULD NOT BE ALIVE MUCH LESS DO THE THINGS I DO BUT I WALKED OUT OF PITT 2.5 MONTHS AFTER MY WRECK UNDER MY OWN POWER! THREW THE HELP OF GOD AND THE DOCTORS THERE AT PITT!

HE WILL BE MAKING THE SAME WALK IN THE NEAR FUTURE!
ARE PRAYER ARE WITH HIM!

Good Morning Shelly,
Sorry that is taking me so long in between updates....As each day passes Todd continues to improve The big turning point was when he was allowed to eat & drink, it`s like the nourishment of real food & drink has given him the additional strength he needed to "wake up" ???? For almost 2 weeks straight now he has been, for the most part aware & alert.... no more slipping in & out of a coma While he does recognise me each & every time he has no short term memory & is often confused on time. He knows that we own TNC Powder Coating yet often believes that we live in West Virginia.... he hasn`t lived there in over 15years. He also thinks he still has the Porsche, which he sold 4-5 years ago!!! He is still overwraught with emotion when he realises where he is & with no short term memory we are constantly reminding him of how much he has already accomplished
Our next step is getting him into a re-hab facility. There , as always, is alot of red-tape associated with this & we have "bit the bullet" & asked for a consult for the re-hab at this hospital... Pitt Memorial. Hopefully by next week he will be moved to that section of the hospital & we can begin on the road to getting him home. He is as determined as us to come home, however he does constantly tell me that " I want alot from him when he gets home" !!!!! He is working at moving his legs & using his stomach muscles however the pain is overwhelming at times. This is where re-hab & constant work-outs will make it easier for him. In my heart i believe that while we still have a long way to go that we are on the "home stretch" to getting him home
As always Thank You to everyone for their support, prayers & encouragement. As of yet i have not taken the lap top in however i have read the e-mails often to him. I believe that it will not be long before you will see a short post from him that we type from the hospital bed

Thats great news Cindy!! Stay strong and keep him going you guys have came through a lot and God is blessing everyday. I along with many others here can't wait to see him here again.
