  • Colors thread

I would like to suggest a "color example" only thread.

Pictures of completed work, and complete color name, with no abbreviations.

Also-no comments allowed, just to keep the thread as short as possible.

this way when a search for a color name is performed, the user will get a good result.

    I have a few contributions.

    Re: Colors thread

I reckon it would be easier for a moderator or the original poster of the thread to maintain the first post as others add to it. Keeping comments out of a thread will be almost impossible, but comments would do no harm as long as the first page of the thread is updated frequently.

If there's enough interest for this I happen to know a certain member who spends quite a bit of time just surfing the forums :P

Are you wanting something similar to what Eastwood has? If so, I would like to see that as well with examples of some of the powders offered by PBTP.

The best thing would be if PBTP grab or excepted pictures from us and put a link to the pic's from their web store. So when I go to buy a pound of Lollypop blue from the site I can see a real picture of what it looks like.

            Like this?

            http://www.powderbuythepound.com/catalo ... cts_id=561

PBTP does this already, some colors have pics under the description. I imagine it would be quite difficult to get a pic of every single color/powder.
Yes just like that... I knew they did it for some colours but would be nice if they did it for all. Like I said it might take a bit of time but if they had an email address that was setup just for excepting pictures of colours that we could send into thm and they could update the site. Over time I am sure we would be able to supplie them with real world picture's.

              Re: Colors thread

              I like the Idea.
With that being said, it looks like it is already in place, but there are a lot of colors without any photos.
Guess we all should buy a pound of diff. colors and start coating (and taking some pics)

With a dedicated thread we wouldn't need to.

I would be honored to moderate it if time is an issue.

My desired goal is a thread containing examples only. Kind of a quick visual reference, while at the same time triggering other ideas--options.

These pictures could then be linked to the catalog.

                simple enough.

That would be helpful. I appreciate it.

Good job getting the word up there-
