Depends on the prep time. If they are in good shape and just need cleaned, scuffed and masked I would charge $85.00. The price would increase with more prep time.

yea that's around the price I had in mind.... I just had a little bird tell me that there is salt damage to the rims... So I told him I would need to see the rims in person.

I there is any flaking of the chrome, be sure to outgas prior to coating or it WILL bubble on you and ruin your day.

I'm with you. I always throw them in there for at least 1 hour at 450 degrees.

              Re: price check

I would get $125 a wheel for specialty. On 20's or above I get $100 in a single color.

He stop by tonight and I checked out the rims..... they are pretty pitted in the chrome so I told him that would have to have the chrome blasted clean to get rid of the pitting.

Are you blasting or are you outsourceing?

What price did you quote him?

                    Re: price check

No I am outsourcing to my guy that does all my blasting.

I told him $400 to powder coat them plus the blasting fee's. He normally charges me $50 for 18" rims so I told the guy it would be upwards of $100 to have them blasted
