No way I would do that for less than 100.00. Guy is crazy if you ask me. I might give him a break if he brought it to me new or already cleaned/blasted but that would be it.

I just shot him an email stating exactly that! LOL.
We do not have a minimum, but $100 would be very close to the rate for
all these parts.
If you're able to remove all the surface rust and I can get them from
you rust free with just needing some light media blasting then the price
would be closer to $85.
Juan](SNIP)[I should have mentioned that's what I had in mind, but the guy said he called around and most shops quoted him "an outrageous price of 100+" (SNIP)
He must be hanging out on the cycle forums where it's commonly stated:
"Powder coating is cheap! - My brother's-friend's-cousin's-roomate will powder coat anything of $10 bucks and a case of Bud..."
I hear ya man. Just thinking of how much time would go into his parts, then electricity, equipment, blasting media, powder, etc... even at 100 bucks I would still break even. I understand the guy is on a budget, but I can't afford to lose money on jobs like this, especially now.
Well I was getting email replies from him within minutes when we first started talking, now that I've mentioned that pricing would be close to $100 anyway I have not heard back. So maybe it worked itself out :P
I would price that at no less than $150 for all. I'm in this to make a living so I have to make sure I cover all my costs and if there was one hiccup I would lose at that price. Powder Coating is cheap have them go to an automotive paint shop and price painting that stuff.
For my location I would charge around $80-$100 for those parts...
But i do lots of those Type parts and im just a little one man low over Head shop..lol
